On Trend: D.I.Y!!!!

Hey beauties! Lately I've been in a crafty mood, so today I've decided to share some videos on how to make cool things! These are really helpful, and it's fun to make stuff.

First, I've been obsessed with creating my own makeup. From eyeliner to lip gloss, I've been experimenting A LOT. So this video was helpful! This girl goes step by step into how to make your own eyeshadow primer! (her other videos are nice, too)

Next, I've been loving trying out different jewelry trends! The feather trend will soon be over, but this video teaches you how to make super cute feather  out of simple craft supplies! Check it out!
The last video is for those of you who feel SUPER crafty. This looks easy, but it's probably harder than it looks. I'm actually gonna try this out when I redo my bedroom soon.. :)

I hope you enjoy these videos and try them out for your selves!

Tell me, will you be trying out any of these DIY's?

More For Less: Paintpots vs. Tattoo Cream Shadows

Hey Beauties! Recently, I was looking around the web, when I noticed all of these ads for the new Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Cream Gel Shadow. After poking around some more, I realized that they're almost a perfect dupe for M.A.C Paintpots! I aboslutely LOVE finding good dupes for my favorite high-end products, because I can get more bang for my buck! And when you're as obsessed with makeup as I am, you really appreciate a good deal. So anyway, these new Maybelline shadows are supposedly gonna last you a full 24 hours. They're gorgeous on their own, and even prettier as an eyeshadow base. As for colors, they have quite a wide range of bright, happy colors, while M.A.C's are more neutral and muted. I personally think that both products are really cool, and I can't wait to find more fantastic dupes!

Tell me, will you be trying out these new shadows?

On Trend

Hey beauties! Over the past week, I've found some awesome things around the web. Now I've decided to share them with you!

My first fave thing is My Glam, a website created by Michelle Phan with the help of other beauty gurus! Every month, a new makeup bag is available for just $10, stocked with 4-5 deluxe sample or full size beauty products! You get to sample some amazing products hand picked by your favorite beauty youtubers! It's just like Jewelmint, except with makeup. Note: I am not in any way affiliated with My Glam, I'm just a fan of their company.
I've also been loving checking out all the styles on Rent The Runway, a site where you can rent a look, right off the runway. It's perfect for a prom or fancy event. The pieces start around $100, and they have such a variety of brands. The process is simple, they ship the dress to you, you keep it from 4-8 days, and then you just return it! You can even order up to 6 months in advance. Again, I'm not affiliated with this site.
Check out these insane heels! They're so fierce and fun looking. I think every girl needs a pair of crazy heels in her closet, just to play around with. Love these!

Down 2 Earth Shadows

Hey beauties! Recently, I've noticed some major makeup trends on the runway. Aside from bold brows and berry lips, of course! One of the newest ones is earth-toned shadows. Yes, neutrals. From light tan colors to bronzey colors to even rich brown colors. And they're super easy to wear too. Here are some of my fave inspiration looks:

And some awesome products for creating this natural looks:

NARS duo in Key Largo

M.A.C. eyeshadow in Antiqued

M.A.C. paint pot in Groundwork

Covergirl Intense Shadow Blast in Brown Bling

Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Quad in Adventurous

Tell me, what are your favorite earth-toned shadows?

Best Dressed of the Golden Globes

Hey beauties! The year  has only just begun, and the Golden Globes have already past! This year, the red carpet was filled with ruffles, coloumn dresses, and lots of color. Here are a few of my faves. :)

My first favorite was Reese Witherspoon. She was absolutely stunning in her floor length Zac Posen gown. The color was so bright yet muted at the same time. Her makeup was natural, and her hair was perfectly wavy .

My next favorite was Heidi Klum in . Her dress, though chic, was a little plain, yet her gorgeous turqoiuse statement necklace really helped. This dress really compliments her tall frame, and hugs her curves.

Wow! This is probably the most daring I've ever seen Lea Michele dress. She totally rocked this dress, wearing Marchesa. Barely. LOL! With her hair pulled back and her dramatic makeup, she almost looks like something out of a fairytale.

In this look, Paula Patton dazzles in a bright, yellow gown by Monique Lhullier. She totally pulled off this dress.

Well, these were my total favorites from the 2012 Gloden Globes, maybe next year, I'll have even more!

Tell me, who's on your best dressed list?

Winter Candles :)

Hey Beauties! Recently, I have developed a serious obsession of burning candles. No matter what I'm doing, taking a relaxing bath, reading, or even while doing homework(!), I'm burning a yummy candle. So here is a list of my absolute faves :)

Bath and Body Works:

this one is only $8 for a limited time!

and of course, the ever sold-out Leaves candle :/

I couldn't find any other scents because they were all sold out or unavailable, but basically any musky or sweet scent. Make sure when you burn candles you NEVER burn them for more than 3-4 hours at a time and ALWAYS make sure that you keep an eye on them. Have fun candle shopping everyone :)

So, what are your favorite candle scents?
